Donald Trump wins golf club championship, local liberal rag reports ‘nobody saw him play’

President-elect Donald Trump made waves as he was named the winner of a golf club championship at his own Florida course.

Yet, despite winning the Senior Club Championship at Trump International West Palm Beach, The Palm Beach Post reported that “nobody saw him play.”

The incoming president did not even mention playing despite social media posts that touted the scores and showed a championship leaderboard with his name on it.

“Great day with the #President. A gracious host,” posted “Shark Tank” host Kevin O’Leary on social media Sunday.

“And, he shot a 68! My recommendation, try the Trump Burger!” he added in the post that featured a photo of himself with Trump and Canadian politician Danielle Smith.

Another photo shared on social media showed the leaderboard at the golf course and included the scores of the 11 contestants in the Senior Club Championship.

“Yet, nobody claims to have witnessed Trump play and it has been reported he was ‘not being known to have played in the tournament until his name was spotted atop of the leaderboard,'” the Palm Beach Post reported. “And according to reports, when Trump’s name appeared at the top ‘it caused surprise among attendees and followers of the event.'”

Trump has not been shy about sharing his golf game, posting last year that he shot a 67 and won the Senior Club Championship at his club in Bedminster, N.J.

“I am pleased to report, for those that care, that I just won the Senior Club Championship (must be over 50 years old!) at Bedminster (Trump National Golf Club), shooting a round of 67,” he shared on Truth Social at the time.

“Now, some people will think that sounds low, but there is no hanky/lanky. Many people watch, plus I am surrounded by Secret Service Agents. Not much you can do even if you wanted to, and I don’t,” he wrote. “For some reason, I am just a good golfer/athlete – I have won many Club Championships, and it is always a great honor!”

This week, Trump met up with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for a round of golf.

“Well, we were on the same team so it was two of us versus three other players and the President and I won the match, which was good because I didn’t want to be a drag on that,” DeSantis explained on The Dana Show.

“You know, I played with him a bunch over the years and a lot of times he’ll have a touring pro will be his partner and then I’m sitting there with like, you know, some random. We’re just getting killed,” the Republican governor recounted of the game Tuesday at Trump International, which he described as “a really top-flight golf course.”

While critics questioned Trump’s latest golf win, many on X celebrated another win for the former and future president.
