Fox’s Bret Baier scorches colleague who called him a ‘Chubby Leprechaun’

Fox News host Bret Baier delivered a zinger of a comeback after being called a “chubby leprechaun” by a former Newsmax and OAN reporter.

While the host of “Special Report with Bret Baier” on the Fox News Channel gets his share of trolls on social media, his response to personal insults by Emerald Robinson seemed to warrant a reply.

Robinson, who now hosts a show on LindellTV, mocked Baier’s height on X in response to a video showing an interview he conducted with former President Donald Trump.

“Looks like @FoxNews made @BretBaier stand on a ladder to interview President Trump since Bret’s barely four feet tall,” Robinson wrote.

“Only 282 days to go until that chubby leprechaun calls Arizona early for Democrats again!” she added.

Baier chose to kill her with kindness – sort of.

He not only cleared up any misconceptions about his height – “I’m 5’11” – and his Irish background, the Fox News host poked Robinson about her own journalistic status.

“We’ll cover the race fairly all throughout. Good luck with your coverage wherever it is,” he wrote.

In the comments following Baier’s post, Robinson dropped a quote from Trump’s Truth Social platform in which he called out the “one-sided FoxNews.”

Baier has had to respond to personal insults before, recently in response to a comment claiming his hair is not his own.

And while there does not seem to be a direct response yet from Robinson to Baier’s message, plenty of X users applauded the Fox News host for his comeback.
