Laura Kronen took to Twitter Tuesday morning to detail how a simple tweet got her kicked out of the Fulton County polling place where she was working as a poll worker.
Kronen had initially posted about how she and her son had gotten to the polling location in Georgia, but just two hours later she updated the tweet to reveal that they had been kicked out.
Good morning! My son and I have arrived at our polling location in Fulton County to help make sure there is a free and fair election!

Update: my son and I were just KICKED OUT of our polling location for reasons they will not provide.

While it was initially unclear why Kronen and her son were reportedly removed from the polling location, it was later reported that her tweet about “a free and fair election” may have been the cause for her removal.

I’m here with Laura & the police
She AND her son were kicked out by the police because the elections official at her location looked up her social media and saw she’s a Republican
She’s an official poll worker at a federal election & she’s been removed from doing her duties https://t.co/IczpAXSExO

My son and I were just KICKED OUT OF BEING A FULTON COUNTY POLL WORKER because I posted on Twitter this morning that I was working at the polls to ensure a free and fair election. HELP!

As of this publishing, there has been no official resolution to this problem. Twitter users are advising her to contact the media as well as the county and state Republican offices to see what can be done.
