‘Innocent mom’ was a trained anti-ICE ‘warrior’: report

Just as MS-13 thug Kilmar Abrego Garcia was dishonestly branded as “Maryland man,” so is Renee Nicole Good being portrayed as an “innocent mom,” but the truth is already coming out about the Democratic Party’s new martyr.

Good was killed by a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer on Wednesday after she allegedly tried to run him over with an SUV, the culmination of months of increasingly aggressive behavior by activists that was inevitably going to turn deadly.

Democrats and their media allies rushed to capitalize on her death by whipping up hysteria, appealing to the irrational emotion that powers their deranged base to take to the streets in Minneapolis and other blue cities in a dangerous game that could soon erupt into violent civil unrest.

But now details are emerging about the “innocent mom,” and they paint a far different picture, one of a militant anti-ICE “warrior” who worked with activist members of the local community to “document and resist” efforts to enforce the nation’s immigration laws.

In a bombshell report that blows a smoking hole in the Democrats’ false narrative, the New York Post reveals that Good recently relocated to Minneapolis, where she “linked up with the anti-ICE activists through her 6-year-old son’s woke charter school, which boasts that it puts ‘social justice first’ and prioritizes ‘involving kids in political and social activism.’”

“She was a warrior. She died doing what was right,” a woman named Leesa, the mother of another child who attends the school, told the paper at a vigil for Good. “I know she was doing the right thing. I watched the video plenty of times but I also know in my heart the woman she was, she was doing everything right.”

Good and her lesbian wife were raising the child together in the south Minneapolis neighborhood, an enclave of left-wing activists with “tree-lined streets and a large number of homes with windows decked out in LGBTQ+ flags or signs depicting George Floyd,” according to the Post, referring to the infamous career criminal and drug addict whom Democrats turned into a martyr figure after his 2020 death while resisting arrest.

“Just as many others did in the lefty enclave, Good sent her son to Southside Family Charter School, a K-5 academy opened in 1972 which has from its inception been ‘unabashedly dedicated to social justice education,’ according to co-founder Susie Oppenheim,” the paper reported. “It was through her involvement in the school community that Good became involved in ‘ICE Watch’ — a loose coalition of activists dedicated to disrupting ICE raids in the sanctuary city.”

“From my understanding, she was involved in social justice … we are a tight-knit community and a lot of parents are [activists],” Rashad Rich, a former gym teacher at Southside told the New York Post, adding that “current event topics like the killing of George Floyd were regular parts of the curriculum, and that last month students took a field trip where they learned about ‘aboriginal issues’ — a reference to the indigenous people of far-away Australia.”

“[Renee Good] was trained against these ICE agents — what to do, what not to do, it’s a very thorough training,” Leesa told the outlet, adding, “To listen to commands, to know your rights, to whistle when you see an ICE agent.”

“The group started out as a very loose confederation of anti-ICE activists, but has recently aligned itself with more radical organizations including Twin Cities Ungovernables,” the Post reported of ICE Watch which in a recent post to Instagram “encouraged agitators to bring items that would help them barricade the streets around where the shooting took place, even urging people to bring things to burn, such as dried-up Christmas trees.”

Embattled Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has declared Friday to be a Day of Unity in remembrance of Good, further establishing her status as the new martyr.

“Say her name!” chants have rung out at vigils for Good in Minneapolis and other cities, with Democrats gearing up for a sustained campaign of mass resistance to enforcing federal immigration law, which the party will not allow to happen under any circumstances.
