A faith-fueled commencement address from a three-time Super Bowl champion tore into the self-styled Catholic president’s “delusional” support for the “murder of innocent babies.”
“This is an important reminder that being Catholic alone doesn’t cut it.”

Though admittedly reluctant to accept the invitation to address the graduating class of Catholic liberal arts school Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas, Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker ultimately accepted. Using the platform, he unabashedly encouraged the class of 2024 to live and proclaim their own faith in God while holding to account leaders like President Joe Biden for using religion to justify immorality and depravity.
“As a group, you witnessed firsthand how bad leaders who don’t stay in their lane can have a negative impact on society,” the 28-year-old professional athlete said early on with a reference to the draconian response to COVID. “While COVID might have played a large role throughout your formative years, it is not unique.”
“Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues. Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as growing support for degenerate cultural values and media, all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder,” he continued before turning to the president.
Referencing an April appearance beside Florida Democratic Party Chair Nikki Fried as she endorsed terminating the lives of the unborn, the footballer slammed Biden as he said, “Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally.”

“He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I’m sure to many people it appears that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice,” continued Butker. “He is not alone.”
Noting that Dr. Anthony “The Scienceâ„¢” Fauci was raised Catholic, the honorary speaker detailed, “From the man behind the COVID lockdowns, to the people pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America, they all have a glaring thing in common — they are Catholic. This is an important reminder that being Catholic alone doesn’t cut it.”
The athlete who had worn a tie that read “Vulnerari Praesidio” (protect the most vulnerable) when his team visited the Biden White House also called out priests and bishops particularly for not fully embracing the Apostolic Tradition in caring for their flocks.
Much as he had in the past called for “strong fathers in the home,” Butker also offered a heartfelt message to the young women graduating about the vocation of homemaker and being the primary educator to their own children.
However, it was his reaming of the president and anti-Christian premise of Marxist ideology that garnered the most attention on social media.
Thank you for speaking out on this. We need to push back the narrative. This is a fight between good vs evil.

Jesus is King. Let’s go! Great to see a KC player stand of for what is right and against DEI! All hard work!

It encourages me to see that there are well-spoken Christian men in the NFL locker rooms who, no doubt, are having a profoundly positive impact on the other players

This is the kind of truth-telling we need more of.
It’s about time the silent majority found its voice.
Score one for free speech.

As he himself said, “But if we are going to be men and women for this time in history stop, we need to stop pretending that the ‘Church of nice’ is a winning proposition. We must always speak and act in charity, but never mistake charity for cowardice.”
