The U.S. Park Police have launched an investigation after the numbers “8647” were seemingly etched into the grass on the National Mall.
The numbers appear in dead or discolored grass east of the World War II Memorial, according to the local Fox 5 affiliate, which noted that the potential threat comes just days before President Donald J. Trump’s birthday celebrations and a major UFC event planned near the White House.
The numbers are widely seen as a call to take out Trump, the nation’s 45th and 47th president — and 46th, if you recognize all the suspicious election activity in 2020, beginning with Joe Biden receiving a record 81 million votes.

“Authorities have not determined what caused the discoloration. Investigators have collected grass samples for testing and are examining the area for evidence,” Fox 5 reported. “The numbers appeared just days before a UFC event scheduled outside the White House on Sunday, which coincides with President Trump’s birthday, and ahead of major America 250 celebrations expected to bring heightened security to Washington.”
There have been at least three widely recognized assassination attempts on Trump since 2024, with two occurring during his 2024 presidential campaign and the third in 2026.
Dirty cop James Comey was indicted on April 28 in the Eastern District of North Carolina on two federal counts related to an Instagram post shared in May 2025 that showed a photo of seashells on a North Carolina beach arranged to spell “86 47.”
“Cool shell formation on my beach walk,” the caption read in the now-deleted post from the former FBI director.
A grand jury charged Comey with threatening the President (18 U.S.C. § 871) — knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of or inflict bodily harm on the President, and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce (18 U.S.C. § 875(c)).
A White House spokesperson also condemned the display: “Anyone who engages in or endorses political violence or assassination culture must be condemned in the harshest terms possible. They should also immediately seek psychiatric help to treat their severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
