Conservative pundit Dana Loesch shredded former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson over claims she made about guns, telling her she should stick to beauty pageants.
“Ordinary people didn’t have AR-15s before 2004. They’re not some time-honored American tradition, they’re a recent mistake that we could fix and save thousands of lives in the process,” Carlson stated on X, taking a poke at the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro and his “love” of AR-15s.
She then doubled down on her anti-gun stance in a second video which won her an epic reply from Loesch.
“More math: this rifle is used the least annually in homicides. Blunt objects, hands, & feet outnumber. Illegally possessed handguns via the black market (FBI, UCR, DOJ) overwhelmingly drive homicide by gun – but DGU still outmeasures all. Stick to beauty pageants, Gretchen,” Loesch said effectively torching Carlson’s flawed argument while user Lorraine Yuriar pointed out that Carlson was getting hammered in the Community Notes as well.

As Carlson was thrashed not only by users but in the Community Notes themselves, Loesch realized why Carlson was never friendly to her, “I remember while promoting my book #HandsOffMyGun I came across Gretchen in the green room of Fox and Friends. Everyone there was always very kind but she was the exception and was not friendly at all. I shrugged it off but it makes sense now considering my book title.”
