Man of the people: Trump leaves bulletproof glass to help rally-goer with medical emergency

Former President Donald J. Trump ventured out from behind a bulletproof glass shield to help out an audience member who appeared to have passed out during a rally on Wednesday.

The Republican nominee returned to his outdoor events with the added precaution that the Secret Service urged after he narrowly escaped being assassinated last month and spoke to an adoring crowd in Asheboro, NC.

But being the man of the people that he is, Trump chose to expose himself to potential danger when someone in the crowd shouted out “Medic!” with it now apparent that there was a medical emergency.

Trump stopped his speech, scanning the audience. “A doctor, please…,” he said, briefly pausing before adding, “It is very hot here, I notice. It is very hot. A lot of the people waited for days to get here. I understand it. Take your time, doctor, take your time, thank you.”

Then in a move that likely didn’t sit well with the Secret Service, Trump walked out from behind the podium and the bulletproof glass and walked down the stage stairs, followed by agents.

The former president then went into the crowd, walked over to where the emergency was, leaned over a barrier, and hugged a woman with a water bottle who seemed to be recovering from what happened.

“You know, they come two, three days early and it’s a lot of stress, we lose them. The only ones we don’t lose are the front row Joes, I don’t know what they have going, they have something going here,” Trump told the crowd after he returned to the stage.”

“Thank you very much,” he added. “Thanks, doctor.”

It was just another example of how Trump truly cares about people, very unlike the angry, vengeful, and perpetually unhappy Democrats whose only concern is their own political power and forcing their perverted agenda on America.

Trump’s act of genuine concern for a supporter drew praise from X users.

It was Trump’s first outdoor rally since a sniper’s bullet grazed him after turning his head at the last second during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania and he’ll be doing them from now until the election.
