The Philadelphia Eagles may have won the Super Bowl but their purported snub of a White House visit has fans like Megyn Kelly regretting their support for the NFL champs.
Kelly expressed her outrage on social media where there was talk of the football team reportedly planning to skip the traditional White House visit and not meet President Donald Trump.
“The Philadelphia Eagles decline to visit the White House. Wish I had known this before the Super Bowl. I wouldn’t have wasted my time rooting for them. Eagles fan? Your team sucks,” wrote an X user with the handle “Toxic Cowboy.”
Kelly agreed with the post, writing, “SAME. GO F YOURSELVES EAGLES.”
SAME. GO F YOURSELVES EAGLES. My husband is a fan so I got onboard but F this BS https://t.co/KemoC67QEu

“My husband is a fan so I got onboard but F this BS,” the host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” added.
Outkick founder Clay Travis, however, noted on X that the White House had not even sent out an invitation yet so there was no truth to the reports that the Eagles had rejected anything.
White House source: the Philadelphia Eagles have not rejected a White House invite. The reports that have gone viral on social media are fake news. The White House has not even sent the official invite to the Eagles yet.

Earlier this month, The U.S. Sun reported that an anonymous source claimed the team had already decided it would reject an invitation when it did come.
The outlet noted that “a well-placed insider told The U.S. Sun that recent discussions between the players and the Eagles front office resulted in a ‘massive no’ when asked if they would accept an invitation to the nation’s capital.”
“We focus on the game for now, but if we win the Super Bowl, we wouldn’t go to the White House,” a member of the ownership group said ahead of the game while one player reportedly said that “pretty much everyone” refused a potential meet-up with Trump.
“We represent a city and a state that is pushing for equal rights, respect, and values that respect every human being,” the Eagles player said, speaking anonymously. “We won’t forget what happened and the criticism we received for taking a stand against racism, and we won’t back down from our values of respect, integrity, and equality.”
Many on social media, however, agreed with Megyn Kelly and others, criticizing the team for politicizing their win.
And just like that, I will never root for the Eagles again. I will remember their hatred.

It’s their right but now they’ve lost half their fans.

I quit watching football for this woke tribal leftism attitude that permeates the game.

Trump won. The people love him. He was cheered at the Super Bowl. Screw these woke, brain-dead sheep.

That is really a low class move by the Eagles.
They put politics over respect for the President of the United States who came to the Super Bowl.

I’m a lifelong Eagles fan.
With that said, I’m deeply ashamed to be so right now…

The Eagles played for and won the National Championship. People on both sides were cheering for them. Why are they being so childish? This is a horrible reflection on them and a slap in the face to their conservative fans. Watching sports used to be fun. But F this BS.
