In a troubling scene that speaks volumes about the radicalization of American institutions of higher learning, militant pro-Palestine protesters are turning out on college campuses all across the nation to cheer the unprecedented attack on Israel that left more than 1,300 dead.
Peddling the same “oppression” tactic employed by Black Lives Matter and other radical left groups to attack Israel as “occupiers,” the protesters oppose the Jewish state’s efforts to defend itself and attempt to recover an estimated 150 citizens taken hostage by the terrorist group Hamas. Other displays of savagery by the Palestinian terrorists included shooting grandmothers and infants in their cribs, and raping and torturing women before setting their bodies on fire.
At the University of Washington, a student group “working in solidarity with the struggle for Palestinian liberation” organized a protest on Thursday. Jewish students were fearful for their lives as the crowd all but celebrated the carnage.
In a video making the rounds online, several Jewish students are seen crying out to what appears to be a school official, with one girl pleading: “They want us dead, please! How you are allowing this?”

Of course, the truth is American colleges are dominated by the radical left which overwhelmingly justifies the Hamas butchery in support of Palestine, and weak-kneed campus administrators regularly cave to their demands.
“I feel scared for my life,” freshman Anna Yekhilevsky said, according to KOMO News. “As a Jewish student, I feel unsupported, I feel unsafe. I don’t think I can walk safely across campus. I don’t feel safe wearing a Star of David necklace. I know my Jewish peers don’t feel safe wearing kippahs on campus. It’s dangerous.”

“The Jewish student body here is really, really disappointed with the administration,” Aidan Dveirin, 20, said. “If I could speak directly to the president, I would tell her that your both-sides-ism, your tiptoeing is personally making us hurt. It breaks my heart.”
Dveirin said the protesters are “deeply misguided” and that the real issue is the hatred of Jewish people — which is now out in the open in the United Sates of America.
“These attacks are fully from the root of annihilating the Jewish people, fully from the root cause of wanting to see the annihilating of the Jewish state,” the student said. “Hamas has no interest whatsoever in the well-being of the Palestinian people. There are innocent lives that are going to be used as human shields.”
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from X:
While I fully support freedom of speech and the right to protest, there’s a line between expressing opinions and instilling fear in fellow students. This ain’t right and it definitely crossed that line!

It’s sickening! No one should feel this way on campus! Where’s the leadership?!

So Jews aren’t entitled to safe spaces on campus but someone that is afraid to hear a Conservative speaker is? Our universities have turned into clown colleges.

Who would have thought 80 years after battling Nazi Germany we’d be seeing this in our schools.

If it’s pro Hamas rally, that should be shut down because they are supporting terrorism.. different than pro Palestinian.
This poor girl is scared. Schools should be safe for everyone.

The very same universities that pushed that “words are violence” etc. the hypocrisy is deep in US academia.

It’s important everyone keeps publishing the names of these universities. My kids will be entering college in 3 years and I and many others would like to keep a record of every university that supports mass murder.
