Trump rails on ‘unfair Biden Trials,’ blasts ‘White House Thugs’ for trying to put him in jail

Looking ahead to the first in a series of criminal “unfair Biden Trials” former President Donald Trump took aim at the “White House Thugs” behind the alleged effort to jail a political opponent.

“It is Communism at its worst…”

Monday in Manhattan, the businessman whose name adorned properties across the city was set to become the first former American president to face criminal prosecution. Previewing the alleged hush money trial that accounted for 34 of the 88 indictment counts brought against him, Trump took to Truth Social Wednesday to renew his claims of political persecution.

“The White House Thugs should not be allowed to have these dangerous and unfair Biden Trials during my campaign for President. All of them, civil and criminal, could have been brought more than three years ago. It is an illegal attack on a Political Opponent,” he began and leveled, “It is Communism at its worst, and Election Interference at its Best. No such thing has ever happened in our Country before.”

While Trump pursued legal action against presiding judge Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan over an expanded gag order limiting his own ability to comment on court employees, the prosecution, jurors, witnesses or family members of the lot, Merchan and Manhattan District Attorney Alving Bragg were notably exempt.

As such, the president brought up both when he pointed to the DA’s connections to dark money financier George Soros and accused Merchan of having boundless “hatred for me.”

“On Monday I will be forced to sit, GAGGED, before a HIGHLY CONFLICTED & CORRUPT JUDGE, whose hatred for me has no bounds,” wrote Trump. “All of these New York and D.C. ‘Judges’ and Prosecutors have the same MINDSET. Nobody but this Soros Prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, wanted to take this ridiculous case.”

“All legal scholars say it is a sham,” argued the president before pointing to his successor’s Justice Department. “BIDEN’S DOJ IS RUNNING THE CASE. Just think of it, these animals want to put the former President of the United States (who got more votes than any sitting President!), & the PARTY’S REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE, IN JAIL, for doing absolutely nothing wrong. It is a RUSH TO THE FINISH. SO UNFAIR!”

Even disgraced former attorney Michael Avenatti who once represented Stormy Daniels, the adult film star to whom $130,000 had allegedly been paid to remain silent about a supposed extramarital affair with Trump, recently noted that the president couldn’t get a “fair shake.”

Calling into MSNBC’s “The Beat,” incarcerated Avenatti told host Ari Melber of Trump, “I don’t think that he can get a fair trial in New York. And to the people who claim that in fact, he can get a fair trial in New York and with a New York jury, I would ask them, if they were to go to sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow and find out that the case had been moved to Mississippi or Alabama, would they still think that the trial was gonna be fair?”

“And I think if they were being honest, they would answer no,” the former attorney added.
