Trump rips ‘Crazy Bill’ Maher, mocks ‘fake laughter’ on his HBO show

Former President Donald Trump took a double jab at Fox News and “Crazy Bill” Maher in a social media post ahead of his rally in Pennsylvania on Sunday.

The Republican presidential nominee questioned Fox News’s decision-making in continuing to air clips of the “low-rated” Maher who hosts HBO’s weekly talk show,  “Real Time with Bill Maher” as he also continued hammering the liberal 68-year-old comedian and political commentator.

“I seldom watch Low Rated Bill Maher but, when I do, I marvel at the fake laughter on the Show,” Trump wrote Sunday on Truth Social, referring to the show that is recorded in front of a live studio audience each week.

“It sounds like a bad ‘Laugh Machine,’ it’s so obnoxious and disgusting, just like him, always laughing no matter what is said,” Trump continued.

“Real Republicans hate it when Fox puts Crazy Bill on, far too often, to show that the Left ‘agrees’ with us,” Trump wrote. “Fox ought to GET SMART, and not use LOSERS like this!”

“Also, they shouldn’t allow negative Ads,” the former president added, though there were no specifics on which advertisements he may have been referring to.

On this past week’s show, Maher expressed confidence that Trump would lose the election to Vice President Kamala Harris in November.

“I’m not even worried about it,” he said during a panel discussion. “He’s definitely going to lose. You just feel it.”

Earlier this month, Trump called out the host as “sloppy and tired.”

“The ratings challenged Bill Maher, on his increasingly boring show on HBO, is really having a hard time coping with TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME. He is a befuddled mess, sloppy and tired, and every conversation, with B and C list guests, seems to start with, or revert back to, ME!” Trump wrote.
