Trump would owe ‘big debt to Alvin Bragg’ if he wins in November, says ‘Shark Tank’ investor

Entrepreneur and TV celebrity Kevin O’Leary called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg a “kingmaker” as he talked about a second term for former President Donald Trump.

The “Shark Tank” investor told “Piers Morgan Uncensored” that the leftist DA with a target on Trump may have effectively sealed the election by polarizing the country with the case against the presumptive Republican nominee.

In the so-called hush-money case against Trump, a jury found him guilty on all 34 felony charges related to falsifying business records. While the former president maintained his innocence during the show trial, Bragg boasted that his office “did our job” after figuratively handing Trump’s head on a platter to his political enemies.

But, as O’Leary pointed out, Trump may have Bragg to thank if he wins the election in November.

O’Leary reminded everyone that Trump faced a very different landscape just two years ago and Bragg has managed to change that to his favor.

“You’ve got to remember, Donald Trump only 24 months ago, in the middle of the first term of Biden, did not have control of his party,” O’Leary explained. “About a third of them were rebelling, if you want to use that word because they were concerned about the controversy around Trump.”

“But something happened that changed everything and this is the law of unintended consequences,” he continued. “Alvin Bragg started charging Trump and immediately the entire Republican Party coalesced behind him, almost in 48 hours.”

“If Trump becomes president, I think he has a big debt to Alvin Bragg,” O’Leary told Morgan and the panelists.

“Alvin Bragg is the kingmaker,” he added as Morgan agreed.

“He made Trump president by polarizing the country so much and motivating the base so much that in the last 42 hours, Trump has passed $60 million in fundraising,” the investor continued. “That’s an all-time record for him!”

Indeed, that number has only continued to climb as the Trump campaign announced an eye-popping $141 million that has been raised in May.

“I think history will show, [Bragg] made Donald Trump president one more time!” O’Leary concluded. “And that’s just the way it is.”

“I completely agree,” Morgan concurred. “It seems like one of the most willfully stupid acts of self-harm I’ve seen any political party commit.
