For months, dark money financiers and some elected public officials have been supporting the doxxing of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as organizations have monitored their movements and dispatched cronies to obstruct detainment and deportation operations.
In recent days in Salem, Oregon, anti-ICE agitators were videoed in multiple confrontations, including one Saturday morning where agents’ SUVs were blocked in by vehicles and an individual took a baseball bat to an official’s transport.
The Post Millennial investigative reporter Katie Daviscourt offered insight in the aftermath of the encounter, where crowd control measures like smoke canisters and pepper balls were deployed, as both the media and local law enforcement seemed more interested in contributing to a narrative than to the safety of ICE agents.
“Salem Police arrived on scene to take ‘witness statements’ from the agitators attacking ICE agents–over ICE’s use of crowd control munitions against ‘civilians.’ Instead of assisting the ICE officers being attacked, per local news,” detailed Daviscourt after it was said some 30 radicals had surrounded the federal agents.
She further reported that, per federal sources, local and state law enforcement made no efforts to assist with crowd control as ICE agents were attacked.
“We are on our own,” a source told her as video from a livestream showed a bat-wielding individual taking the side mirror off a passing SUV while another vehicle was forced to ram a blocking vehicle out of the way.
Federal sources tell @TPostMillennial that local and state law enforcement did not help manage the crowd of weapon-wielding rioters attacking ICE agents so they could escape to safety.

A day prior, another encounter between ICE and aggressive protesters featured a man jumping on the hood of a vehicle before attempting to punch an official who pulled him down. That radical was subsequently doused with spray while onlookers cursed the agents in Spanish.
Amid the surge, Democrat politicians further demonized law enforcement efforts, with Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek releasing a statement alongside resources for illegal aliens: “Our immigrant and refugee neighbors are experiencing more uncertainty and fear because of new federal tactics. Reports of rushed immigration hearings and increased ICE activity, including near schools, are very concerning.”
Responding directly to ICE’s retort to violent obstruction on Saturday, Oregon Democratic Rep. Andrea Salinas’ statement was reminiscent of strategies employed by Hamas terrorists as she expressed, “ICE’s actions today were reckless and needlessly endangered innocent people. As part of today’s operations, ICE deployed pepper spray, pepper balls, and smoke canisters against the elderly and children. They followed and harassed U.S. citizens, and they drove reckless with a blatant disregard for the safety of other drivers. At one point, they shut down 99E and nearly caused several accidents.”
Salinas went on to claim that the public would have been safer if not for President Donald Trump’s use of ICE, despite radicals being the ones monitoring and hunting down agents to cause confrontations.
Our immigrant and refugee neighbors are experiencing more uncertainty and fear because of new federal tactics. My administration is closely monitoring these developments and will keep standing up for Oregon’s communities.
