First lady Jill Biden awkwardly thanked a heckler on Wednesday when, on her way to get some ice cream with Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, a random man blasted her husband’s job performance.
The FLOTUS was in Connecticut as part of a three-state tour to brag about how the American Rescue Plan has been funding summer learning programs. Unfortunately, not everyone is as pleased with President Joe Biden’s administration as she is.
As they were approaching the Arethusa Farm Dairy shop for their frozen treats, a man laid into the president. Confusingly, the first lady responded by thanking him for his “support.”

“Your husband is the worst President we’ve ever had, you OWE us gas money,” the man hollered from a distance away.
“Thank you! Thank you for your support!” Jill Biden shouted back, all smiles.
It’s not clear if she was being sarcastic, but Twitter was not impressed:
