Young siblings running Boston lemonade stand robbed at gun point

Even routine tasks like riding public transit to work require constant vigilance in cities run by soft-on-crime Democrats — but in Boston, children running a lemonade stand aren’t even safe.

On Wednesday afternoon, an 11-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother were robbed of about $50 when two black juvenile suspects armed with a handgun set upon their lemonade stand. The wannabe thugs allegedly joked about Apple Pay as they robbed the children — police estimated the armed suspects were 14 and 11.

Democratic Mayor Michelle Wu backs progressive policies toward crime and has strong sanctuary city policies limiting local cooperation with ICE in the detention of criminals in the country illegally.

“Boston Police have been doing a great job. They’re definitely on it. They’re trying to see whatever surveillance and just trying to take the next steps in order to catch the two individuals that were involved with this,” the victims’ father, Dave Byrne, said, according to WCVB.

“There’s two innocent little kids just trying to make some slush money, and they have to fear for their life. It’s horrific. It’s horrific. I have no other words,” Jen Byrne said.

The community, described as “tight knit,” is planning a solidarity lemonade stand on Friday at the same spot while police seek tips.

Social media users were quick to note that even if the suspects are apprehended, there’s little chance of real justice being served in deep-blue Boston — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
