Biden still denies interacting with Hunter, James’ business partners: ‘These guys have got to stop this stuff’

President Joe Biden continues to deny that he met with his scandal-plagued son Hunter and scandal-plagued brother James’ business associates, despite newly emerged evidence proving otherwise.

Approached by a reporter outside the White House late Friday, he was asked, “Speaker Johnson has accused you of lying repeatedly about your interactions with your son and brother’s business partners. What’s your response to him?”

Listen to his response below:

“Tell him to read the record of every single witness. These guys have got to stop this stuff,” the president replied.

“But you did interact with their partners,” the reporter pressed.

“I did not interact with their partners,” Biden responded.

“You didn’t have dinner or lunch and coffee?” the reporter then asked before the clip was cut off.

Speaker Johnson later responded to the president’s answers with a scorching tweet posted to the social media platform X, accusing the president of being a shameless liar.

“Yet another lie from the President about his involvement in his family’s influence peddling schemes,” he wrote.

Look:

Johnson was right.

“Emails, witness testimony and even photos show Joe Biden encountered his son and brother’s associates from two different Chinese government-linked business deals and others from Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine, in addition to many of their US business partners,” according to the New York Post.

Here’s the kicker: Hunter, 54, openly admitted in testimony to Congress this week that his father had indeed mingled with his associates.

“I do believe that Vadym was at one of these dinners, yes,” he said, referencing Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive at Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company that paid Hunter $1 million per year starting in 2014.

Hunter further confirmed that the dinners also included Russian billionaire and former Moscow first lady Yelena Baturina, who according to the Post had in 2014 transferred $3.5 million to Hunter’s company, and Kazakhstani businessman Kenes Rakishev, who’d bought Hunter a $142,000 sports car.

“I believe that he [his father] probably had a Coca-Cola and a bowl of spaghetti,” Hunter likewise testified regarding his dad’s attendance at the Café Milano dinner mentioned above.

Hunter also confirmed during his testimony Wednesday that his father had in 2013 met with his then-business partner Jonathan Li, described by the Post as “the incoming CEO of Chinese state-backed BHR Partners.”

“At the time that you did introduce your father to Jonathan Li, did you or any of your business associates have any potential business with Jonathan Li?” Hunter was asked by a member of Congress.

“I was working with Jonathan on a potential that he had an idea for creating a private equity fund based in China to do cross-border investments,” the first son replied.

Hunter went on to describe how the meeting occurred.

“There was a rope line, and Jonathan Li was in the lobby of the hotel where I was going to meet him for coffee,” he said.

“In that line, I introduced my dad to Jonathan Li and a friend of his, and they shook hands and I believe probably took a photograph. And then my father went up to his room, and I went to have coffee with Jonathan Li,” he added.

His father, the current president, reportedly later wrote college recommendation letters for Li’s children.

But there’s more.

His father, then the vice president, also once “hosted at the official vice president’s residence and gave a White House tour in November 2015 to a group of his son and brother’s Mexican business associates, including billionaire Carlos Slim and members of the wealthy Mexican Aleman family, whom Hunter Biden and his associate Jeff Cooper courted with energy and technology pitches,” according to the Post.
