Sisters Erin and Sara Foster, daughters of music icon David Foster, are no fans of California Governor Gavin Newsom.
“Newsom is, like, the worst,” Sara stated.
“Yeah, I hate him,” Erin agreed.
The siblings were speaking on their “The World’s First Podcast,” and Erin is so fed up with California’s endless regulatory quagmire, that she said she is moving to Nashville.
“We would love to pay Nashville taxes,” Erin said. “The government in California – very aware that people are trying to not pay California taxes. You have to prove that your doctor is in Nashville, that your therapist is in Nashville. You have to prove that your grocery bills are coming from Nashville. We would have to properly move to pay those taxes.”
That’s when the subject of Assembly Bill 259 (AB-259) came up.
Proposed by Democratic California state Assembly member Alex Lee, the legislation is a wealth and exit tax bill that “includes a 1% tax on extreme wealth over $50 million and 1.5% on wealth in excess of $1 billion,” according to REDW. “It requires an amendment to remove the California constitutional limit of a 0.4% tax rate on personal property.”
“I blame everything on Newsom,” Sara said. “They’re trying to pass a bill where, if you leave the state because you’re like, ‘I’m unhappy here. Crime is through the roof. The public education isn’t great’ — like, ‘I want to leave.’ They’re trying to pass a bill where you have to pay for ten years, taxes.”
“That’s insane,” Erin replied.

Newsom is “actually the worst,” Sara repeated.
“We met him in the Bahamas once,” Erin recalled.
“I’m sure he’s a perfectly nice person. I’m not talking about him as a friend. I’m sure if I sat across from him at a dinner table, I’d be like, ‘Love this guy,'” Sara said. “He is who is running our state. So, unfortunately, all that goes aside.”
“I don’t care who you know, who you’re friends with, what mutual friends we have – I don’t give a sh*t,” she continued. “You are running the state and your policies are whack, therefore, I’m coming for you. If I see you out in the world, like, not that he even knows who I am or any of that, but you know … it’s really f**ked up what’s happening here.”
“And I think that it’s like, is the goal to be Venezuela? Is the goal to be a socialist state?” Sara asked. “I don’t know.”
“Whatever the goal is,” Erin said, “I am getting a place in Nashville.”
As BizPac Review reported, Sara, a Democrat, lasted “liberal politicians” for “ruining cities” following the shocking stabbing death in San Francisco of CashApp founder Bob Lee.
“I have no words,” Foster wrote on Instagram at the time. “SF is a complete s**thole. I am a registered Democrat and feel confident saying liberal politicians are ruining cities.”

It was later reported that Lee was allegedly stabbed three times, not by a homeless drug addict as many suspected, but by IT consultant Nima Momeni over the suspect’s married sister who Momeni believed had an affair with Lee.
