‘Hate of the Union’ highlights

In what is being called a “bizarre” speech, fueled by anger and full of “hate,” a “totally deranged” President Biden began what many hope will be his last State of the Union address by comparing his political opponent to Hitler, shilling for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and calling January 6, 2021, the “the gravest threat to our democracy since the Civil War.”

In short, it was exactly what many conservatives expected it to be: “Disastrous.”

“That was by far the most disastrous state of the union address I’ve ever witnessed — in my 52 years on this planet,” Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) wrote on X.

Right-leaning “fact-checkers” couldn’t keep up with the gaslighting:

“It took him over 40 minutes to get to Immigration, and then said nothing about it!” former President Donald Trump fumed on Truth Social.

Well, to be fair, he did say one shocking thing about illegal migrants.

When Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) demanded from the gallery that Biden “say her name,” the president acknowledged the murder of Laken Riley at the hands of an illegal migrant by saying the wrong name: “Lincoln.”

“Lincoln, Lincoln Riley,” Biden replied. “An innocent woman who was killed by an illegal. That’s right. But how many of the thousands of people being killed by LEGALS (?).”

“If Biden meant to say LEGALS, Joe wasn’t just owning himself by showing he didn’t even know the girl’s name, he minimized her death for political points by equating it to a murder by legal migrant,” noted Kyle Becker. “If he meant ILLEGALS, then he is damning his own disastrous border policies.”

The evening even saw a grieving Gold Star father, Steve Nikoui, hauled away in handcuffs for daring to remind the president that “13 Marines” died needlessly in Afghanistan on his watch.

“The Democrats treat us like subjects and criminals who should be tossed in jail if we call out their lies all while they get rich and consolidate power,” said conservative podcaster Robby Starbuck. “Evil. This defines Biden’s presidency.”

The speech left Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) gobsmacked.

“Tonight’s State of the Union Address was bizarre — I have never seen anything like it,” the senator wrote on X.

“The speech was devoid of reality,” Cruz stated. “President Biden told Americans who are struggling that inflation isn’t that bad. He gave no acknowledgement of the 10.4M illegal aliens he let into the country, or the thousands of minors and women who’ve been sexually assaulted, or the over 100,000 Americans dead from fentanyl.”

“This is NO State of the Union – this is a stump speech full of gimmicks, lies, hate and barely articulated propaganda…” said former Department of Defense intel operative Tony Shaffer.

The “screaming” was too much for White House correspondent Simon Ateba.

“So much yelling and screaming and anger at this State of the Union Address,” he noted.

But the overwhelming takeaway for many conservatives was the president’s hatred of them.

“That was the most one-sided, partisan, militant, and least conciliatory State of the Union speeches in living memory,” said Charlie Kirk. “These people don’t see you as fellow citizens, but as an enemy that must be defeated and subdued by any means necessary. They hate you.”

“Hate” was sensed by many:

“I don’t know what this hour plus was, but it was no state of the union address,” wrote one user on X. “It was some strange, angry, divisive hate campaign speech

“Americans deserve so much more that the mess that was delivered to them tonight.”
