Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the Green Bay Packers weren’t alone in having a sour playoff experience as the Eagles went on to win 22-10. A couple of Packers fans in the stands got more than they bargained for from the raucous Philly crowd, so much so that a video posted to X found the offending party banned from the stadium and fired from his job.
After Alex Basara posted a video of the treatment suffered by his fiancée Ally Keller and himself, Internet sleuths uncovered the identity of 45-year-old Ryan Caldwell prompting a statement from his now-former employer, BCT Partners in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
“We, the management of BCT Partners, have concluded the internal personnel investigation regarding an employee who was caught on a video outside of the workplace making highly offensive and misogynistic statements,” began their statement posted to X Tuesday. “In keeping with our company values, which are firmly centered on respect, dignity, and inclusion, we have decided to part company with the employee. This separation is effective immediately.”
“We condemn our former employee’s conduct in the strongest possible terms. This individual’s conduct and language were vile, disgusting, unacceptable, and horrific and have no place in our workplace and society. Such conduct is not who we are and not what we stand for,” the company went on to state, expressing hope the former employee would learn from the incident as well as offering apologies to the victim.

According to the Daily Mail, Caldwell deleted his social media profiles but included “they/them” pronouns when describing his employment background.
In the video that was shared by Basara where Keller took the brunt of the harassment, the Eagles fan could be heard saying in part, “She’s an ugly dumb c*nt. You gonna do anything?”
He shared the video that garnered nearly 30 million views with the caption, “What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team…Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay…I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team.”
Speaking with NBC 10, Basara referred to Caldwell as an outlier, explaining, “99% of Eagles fans were playful banter. The normal. I’ve been to 20-plus stadiums and it’s normally like that. Eagles is a little bit more harsh sometimes but it’s all in playful fun. They’ll say things to you but then they’ll shake your hand. They’ll say, ‘Hey, have a good time in the stadium.”
“He started out with playful jabs at first or kind of just saying things to us right when we sat down. I chatted with him for a bit. But then he just kept saying some of the same things. Continued through the entire game,” he went on. “It got worse and worse as the game went on. We were surrounded by Eagles fans. We were getting all the attention.”
Unaware of QR codes at their seat that could have been utilized to contact security, the couple opted to keep the situation from escalating. Keller detailed to NBC 10, “There’s no women. There’s nobody defending me. There’s all Eagles fans allowing this to happen. So, I didn’t want to turn around and yell at this guy and then have my fiancé get jumped in the crowd. So I was I guess trying to stay calm but I was pretty fuming at that point and just hopeful that another fan would tell this guy to stop. And everyone just kind of stood around and I guess allowed him to call me that name.”
While some reports suggested the fans would be receiving Packers merchandise courtesy of the Eagles following the incident, the couple told NBC 10 when they spoke with the outlet that they had yet to hear from the team.
The Eagles advanced to the next round to face the Los Angeles Rams on Jan. 19.
