“Curb Your Enthusiasm” star Cheryl Hines was shredded by leftists for supporting her anti-vaxxer, anti-Ukraine husband as he announced his 2024 presidential bid, challenging President Biden for the Democratic nomination.
Leftists on social media viciously slashed at the actress after she stood by her husband, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. on Wednesday when he made the announcement that he will toss his hat in the ring against Biden.
“My husband, Robert Kennedy Jr. announced today he will be running for president and I support his decision,” Hines, 57, said in a statement that was obtained by PEOPLE.
RFK Jr., 69, has been aggressively attacked for making anti-vax and other controversial comments including comparing the COVID vaccine to the Holocaust. He has also attacked the war in Ukraine. But that’s not stopping him from taking on the lead Democrat. He appears to be an equal opportunity offender of those on both sides of the political aisle and very much his own man despite a checkered past.

In January 2022, he was attacked when he stated at an anti-vax protest, “Even in Hitler’s Germany, you could hide in the attic like Anne Frank did.”
Hines wrote on Twitter at the time, “My husband’s opinions are not a reflection of my own. While we love each other, we differ on many current issues.”
Wednesday morning, she proudly stood by her husband’s side at a press conference.
“He is a fearless leader who understands the needs of the American people and has devoted his life fighting for democracy,” Hines proclaimed.
Kennedy gave a nearly two-hour-long speech to announce his candidacy, claiming the US would have a “really funny first lady” if he’s elected while admitting that despite his “Kennedy” last name, he was definitely a non-traditional presidential candidate.
“I told my wife the other day, I said, I’ve got so many skeletons in my closet that if they could vote, I could be king of the world,” he stated, according to the Daily Mail. “I don’t want the Democratic Party to be the one of fear and pharma and war and censorship,” and then declared that his party is full of “woke” neo-cons.
Give me a sword. I need an army, and it can’t be just the Party. I need Democrats, Republicans, and Independents.
I won't pretend to agree with you on every position. But I would make America a safe place to debate your positions and I will give you an ear and open mind.

Kennedy recognized a few members of his family who came to his announcement in Boston, including Doug Kennedy and Anthony Shriver.
“There are other members of my family who are not here today,” he said to laughter. “I know most American families – they never have any differences with each other.”
He also addressed the fact that members of his family have “long personal relationships with President Biden.” Several of the Kennedys work for the Biden administration.
Kennedy pointed out that he disagrees with family members on issues including government censorship, war, and public health. He spoke to the crowd about children being poisoned by “chemicals and pharmaceutical drugs.”
He vowed to unify the country once more: “During this campaign and during my administration my objective will be to make as many Americans as possible forget that they are Republicans or Democrats and remember that they are Americans.”

He did take a dig at former President Trump, blaming him for the COVID lockdowns during the pandemic, stating, “It was the worst thing that he did to our country, to our civil rights, to our economy, to the middle class.”
Evidently, quite a few of the actress’ fans had no idea she was married to Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. They reacted in horror upon finding out that she was.
Vile hatred flowed on Twitter aimed at Hines over the discovery. Many vowed they “won’t be watching” her movies or shows “ever again,” after the revelation.
One nastily tweeted, “You married a creep.”
Others lined up to take a jab at the actress showing just how reprehensible some can be on social media.
“I didn’t know that Cheryl Hines was married to RFK Jr., an anti-vaxxer and true whacked out wannabe,” one person snarled.
“Was a fan but no longer. Disgraceful,” another commented.
“Wow. I used to like Cheryl Hines. No more,” someone else chirped.
“@CherylHines you do realize that you don’t have to co-sign your spouse’s crazy conspiracy theories, don’t you?” another tweeted.
Another troll suggested that she should have married her “Curb Your Enthusiasm” costar Larry instead, while another remarked she had become like Willa Ferreyra from “Succession.”
Libs are throwing shade at Cheryl Hines because she is supporting her husband RFK Jr. in his bid as Dem nominee for the 2024 presidential race. They literally hate her now for supporting her husband. Why are libs always such pieces of shit???

When they didn't toe the evil and nasty Dem ideology.

Hines also directs, produces, and has her own podcast. She has a 19-year-old daughter from her first marriage as well.
After being introduced at a party in 2011, the couple wed in August 2014 and have been together ever since.
The hatred expressed toward Hines was off the charts on Twitter:
He’s not a Dem. He’s a Bannon-run candidate who has likened pandemic precautions to Nazi Germany. She criticized him for saying that, but still is cool with him running to split the vote. If you want to call voters “pieces of shit” go ahead, but we like to say “not gullible.”

How embarrassing for her.

Omg I didn’t know she was married to him. Changes my opinion of her entirely.
— TerriAnn (@Terriann1017) April 19, 2023
I don’t understand what she gets out of this. I don’t understand what she could possibly get out of the marriage. What a way to get people not to take you seriously and wonder about your IQ. And it’s just plain old nasty – ick. Divorce will happen sooner or later, count on it.

Just gross. Marriages can be complicated but stepping up on that stage is without question enabling him and an unequivocal endorsement of his dangerous rhetoric.
