MTG says Fox News called her ‘an idiot’ for push to oust Johnson, but she says it’s a ‘beautiful thing’

Fox News may have called controversial Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) an “idiot” for her push to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), but she sees the attacks as a “beautiful thing.”

“You know, Fox News called me an idiot,” Greene told the War Room’s Steve Bannon. “That was literally their headline. They called me an idiot.”

“But what I’ve done is exposed what was already happening in the dark,” Greene continued. “And I think the beautiful thing about it is, is that Democrats have to come clean. They were controlling Mike Johnson anyways. He was giving them everything: wide open border policies, fully funded, fully funded Biden Department of Justice, fully funded the FBI.”

Johnson has done exactly what Greene claimed he did, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is so thrilled with his actions, he’s vowed the Democrats will save his job from Greene’s motion to vacate.

But the leftist media is acting like MTG threw dishes and pulled her hair out on Bannon’s show, when in fact, she was calmly stating the indisputable truth.

MTG “freaks out” according to Occupy Democrats.

She “Rages at Critics” according to Mediaite.

Greene “fumes over bad press” Raw Story stated.

To be clear, Fox News did call Greene an “idiot” for daring to believe the Republican Speaker of the House should be advancing agendas that address the concerns of Republican voters.

In a mid-April op-ed by Liz Peek titled, “Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot. She is trying to wreck the GOP,” Peek claims, “It’s high time someone in the Republican Party told Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to turn all that bombastic self-serving showmanship and drama queen energy on Democrats, and stop trying to defeat her own party.”

Meanwhile, actual America-first Republicans are praising Greene’s efforts.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who consistently defaults to the Constitution, even when it upsets his fellow GOP lawmakers, agrees that Johnson has done Republicans wrong.

“I spoke with [GlennBeck] about [Speaker Johnson’s] three recent betrayals of Republicans and why the motion to vacate will be called next week,” he wrote Wednesday on X. “Watch that roll call!

“Hakeem Jeffries and the entire Democrat leadership have vowed to save Johnson because he gives them what they want.”
