‘Obama bro’ breaks the news to Dems calling for their own Joe Rogan: ‘He WAS our Joe Rogan’

Dazed Democrats are sifting through the wreckage of the Kamala collapse and one common theme is the influence that Joe Rogan had in putting President-elect Donald J. Trump over the top with voters.

There’s much hand-wringing over the waning influence of the mainstream media which is completely controlled by the party and the rise of the alternative media, especially the podcaster extraordinaire, causing some leftists to call for the Democrats to find their own Joe Rogan.

But as “Obama bro” Jon Favreau accurately pointed out, “he was our Joe Rogan” before left-wing zealots turned on him, during a discussion with fellow Obama administration veterans Joe Lovett and Tommy Vietor on the latest episode of the “Pod Save America” podcast.

Rogan was very open to the left, interviewing crypto communist cadaver Bernie Sanders in 2019, and until the “woke” inquisition and COVID, he was still in the fold, which Favreau reminded Democrats.

“You have to be open to them when I say you, the left, has to be open to them like not agreeing with us on everything, having some heterodox views on politics, making some jokes that we don’t like or even find offensive,” he said. “I mean, everyone’s like, why Joe Rogan? ‘Where’s our Joe Rogan?’ It’s like, well, we had Joe Rogan. He was our Joe Rogan and then everyone said, ‘F**k you, no’ when they made a big fuss out of Bernie Sanders going on his show.”

Co-host Joe Lovett suggested that the Democrats have a far bigger problem than not having “their own” Joe Rogan, the fact that their appeal to males has suffered with their woman-centric messaging that’s been a complete turnoff to men.

“There’s something about Democrats being like, ‘How do we appeal to men? How do we reach the men?’ And none of the people that do ever ask that question, you’re not going to artificially create a bunch of apolitical, gigantic hits that are then receptive to having Democratic candidates on, you have to build a political movement and a culture on the left where you’re welcome in those spaces because you’re not seen as being an imperious and scolding sour jerk,” he said.

In hindsight, the Tim Walz thing didn’t lure the dudes the way that Democrats expected it to.

While it’s uncertain that she wouldn’t have made a complete fool out of herself, many are lamenting Harris’ missed opportunity to make her appeal to Rogan’s massive audience. The rumored interview never came to fruition after her team insisted that he meet her conditions for the privilege of a sit-down with the Democrat nominee, he politely declined.

Trump sat down with Rogan the week before the election for one of his standard, freewheeling three-hour interviews, hitting it off with the host and revealing to the podcasting king’s fans that the version of Trump that they had been sold by the mainstream media was a big fat lie.

And the rest is history.
