A buffalo in Bangladesh may not be a MAGA supporter, but it owes its life to President Donald Trump.
The rare albino buffalo was nicknamed after the U.S. president, “for its distinctive blond tuft,” according to Reuters, which noted that it was spared from Eid al-Adha sacrifice.
“The nearly 700-kg (1,543 lb) animal had already been sold for ritual slaughter when authorities stepped in, citing security concerns after a surge of public interest ahead of Thursday’s festival,” the outlet reported, referring to the Islamic holiday taking place this week.

The animal’s narrow escape came after images of the Trump lookalike took off on social media.
Bangladeshi Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed ordered that the buffalo be moved to the national zoo in Dhaka after the buyer was refunded.
“At the last moment, the decision was taken to spare the buffalo from sacrifice due to security concerns and the unusual level of public interest,” a ministry official said, according to Reuters.
“Crowds gathered at the farm, with visitors travelling from far afield to see its blond fringe and calm demeanour,” the outlet reported, noting that the farm’s owner, Ziauddin Mridha, credited his brother with noting the rare albino buffalo’s resemblance to Trump.

“We have designated a shed for the albino buffalo and assigned a caregiver,” Bangladesh National Zoo’s curator, Atiqur Rahman, said, according to AFP. “He will be quarantined for two weeks.”
Social media users continued to celebrate the buffalo’s fate – and its “unstoppable” namesake.
They tried to sacrifice Donald Trump the buffalo… but the internet said NO. Blond tuft for the win. Even animals named after him are unstoppable🐃🤷♀️

I’m so glad this angel was saved, but don’t understand why people are still sacrificing animals. Evolve.
