Tim Allen’s benign Biden joke sends leftist Twitter into tailspin

For those paying attention, truth is seen as the first casualty in the progressive left’s war on traditional America, but close behind is a sense of humor.

Iconic comedians like George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield and Sam Kinison would face a quick cancelation in post-Obama America, where the perpetually aggrieved hyper-sensitive left takes offense over every slight, even if offered in good humor. And should the slight be directed at a Democratic leader, well… fuhgettaboutit.

Comedian Tim Allen is the latest comic to experience a meltdown from triggered liberals when he offered a cheesy joke about President Joe Biden’s recent appearance on “60 Minutes” — low hanging fruit in the spirit of comedian Henny Youngman, the master of one-liners.

“Biden was on 60 minutes. I heard he asked how long the show was,” Allen tweeted, the only thing missing being the traditional drum roll at the end.

But the joke didn’t go over too well with some. Then again, after being on the defensive for nearly two years over the soon-to-be 80-year-old Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, it’s understandable that these folks might be a bit touchy.

One such social media user did what the left always does — pivot to Trump. He shared a doctored video of people mostly sharing concerns about Biden’s mental well-being while showing clips featuring the former president:
