‘Especially you, sir’: Megyn Kelly on who’s ‘complicit’ after Obama calls for ceasefire in Gaza

Former President Barack Obama said that ‘all of us are complicit’ for the violence in Gaza but Megyn Kelly suggested that he’s the most complicit one of all.

Obama has joined his fellow leftists in calling for an end to the violence in Gaza where Israel is conducting a military offensive to eliminate the threat from the Hamas terror organization.

Since the very same day that marauding savages launched a sneak attack against the Jewish democracy in which they murdered over 1,300 of its citizens, butchering civilians – including women, children, and babies – in their own homes in unspeakable ways, Democrats have demanded a ceasefire and now Obama has added his voice to the choir.

At an event hosted by the foundation that bears his name, the nation’s 44th president described the conflict as a “moral reckoning for all of us” and called for an end to the “occupation” a term that has been invoked to blame Israel for decades of tensions in the volatile Middle East area.

“All of this is taking place against the backdrop of decades of failure to achieve a durable peace for both Israelis and Palestinians,” Obama told the audience. “One that is based on genuine security for Israel, a recognition of its right to exist, and a peace that is based on an end of the occupation and the creation of a viable state and self-determination for the Palestinian people.”

Obama also later claimed that “all of us are complicit to some degree” in remarks on the “Pod Save America” podcast.

The conservative podcaster and journalist called B.S. on the smooth-talking snake oil salesman.

“Especially you sir,” Kelly posted to X along with a clip of Mr. Obama’s remarks.

“And what is true is that there are people right now who are dying who have nothing to do with what Hamas did. And what is true, right — I mean, we can go on for a while. And the problem with the social media, and trying to — TikTok activism, and trying to debate this, on that, is you can’t speak the truth. You can pretend to speak the truth,” Obama said.

“You can speak one side of the truth, and in some cases, you can try to maintain your moral innocence, but that won’t solve the problem. And so if you want to solve the problem, you have to take in the whole truth, and you then have to admit nobody’s hands are clean, that all of us are complicit to some degree,” he claimed.

Kelly wasn’t the only one to find fault with Obama’s finger pointing.

The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) responded to Obama’s remarks.

“At a time when morality, international law, and the welfare of our chief ally in the Middle East all demand that we stand with Israel, full stop, Barack Obama says it’s complicated. It’s not,” said RJC CEO Matt Brooks in a statement.

“Hamas attacks civilians; Hamas takes hostages; Hamas uses Gazans as human shields; Hamas steals humanitarian supplies; Hamas builds terrorism tunnels instead of bomb shelters, or schools, or houses. Hamas is to blame for the current war. The US should be fully behind Israel as it seeks to end Hamas’s capability to harm Israelis and Gazans alike,” the statement reads.

“But instead, when Israel faces a barbaric attack from Hamas, Obama blames Israel,” Brooks said. “It is Barack Obama who is complicit in the death and suffering over the last month in Israel and in Gaza. His policies and those of President Joe Biden put billions of dollars into Iranian coffers, money used to fund and train Hamas and other terrorist groups whose stated goals are the destruction of Israel and the annihilation of Jews. Obama’s attempt to dilute his own culpability in this situation doesn’t change the facts.”
