Joy Behar slams Rashida Tlaib for stubbornly clinging to lie about Gaza hospital blast

The stubbornness of “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) – who is sticking by her promoting of the big lie that Israel bombed a Gaza hospital last week – is even too much for her fellow leftist Joy Behar.

Showing that even the proverbial broken clock is right twice a day, the foghorn-voiced New Yorker blasted the Jew-hating Michigan Democrat on Tuesday’s edition of “The View” where the co-hosts discussed the explosion of anti-Semitism after Israel justifiably retaliated against Hamas after terrorist invaders slaughtered over 1,300 civilians, many in horrific ways.

Soon after the news broke about an explosion at the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, Tlaib took to X, formerly Twitter, to share Hamas propaganda that the Jewish democracy had done it and that children were among the alleged hundreds of victims. A tweet that she refused to take down despite the initial reports being debunked.

During the segment, the show’s token conservative chew toy Alyssa Farah Griffin blasted those who have falsely claimed that Israel is  “entirely responsible for the unfolding violence.”

“That is what Jews have faced since before the Holocaust, but since the Holocaust. They are one of the only groups whose right to exist is constantly questioned and they have to defend it. It’s right, left, center. I’ve called it out when it’s on the right, so I’m going to call it out when it’s on the left. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, they have dabbled in dangerous anti-semitism,” she said.

Behar jumped in, “She – Rashida still will not admit that that attack on the hospital came from Hamas. They have video showing it but she goes out there and lies like Trump,” she said, unable to resist making it all about the former president on the rare occasion that she actually said something critical about a Democrat.

As of Tuesday night, Tlaib’s post falsely blaming the hospital explosion on Israel still remains up despite strong criticism.

The virulently anti-Israel congresswoman remains dug into her position despite the evidence and on Monday, insisted that a Jihadi group wasn’t responsible for the hospital blast, a conspiracy theory that has firmly taken root with the more unhinged elements of the anti-Semitic left.

“Media outlets and third-party analysts have raised doubts about claims and evidence offered by both Israel and the Gaza Ministry of Health, and I agree with the United Nations that an independent investigation is necessary,” Tlaib said in a statement.

“I cannot uncritically accept Israel’s denials of responsibility as fact, especially in light of confirmation from the World Health Organization that Israel has bombed numerous medical facilities in Gaza and reports from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society of ongoing threats from the Israeli military to evacuate hospitals,” the militant congresswoman added.
